At last, a single version of the pop hit from Sarandon's Age of Reason. A perfect example of Sarandon, the 2011 version. Catchy as hell, and yes it's 'pop', but pop with a razor edge and a wicked sense of humor.

"Sarandon’s Age Of Reason" tells the story of Big Trev, a man frustrated with his lot and determined to change his life, and is Sarandon's finest, most focussed record yet.

Taking their cues from the "other" side of C86, Sarandon pick up where bands like Big Flame, The Wolfhounds and Bogshed left off. Their tense, abrasive sound cross-breeds pop with the urgency and noise-loving aesthetic of punk. The results are catchy, bristly and totally distinctive.
